Agreement with the owner
Deutsche Bahn AG (DBAG) and the Federal Republic of Germany (Federal Government) have agreed to jointly bear the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on Deutsche Bahn Group (DB Group). We plan to compensate for half of the impact on the integrated rail system by implementing countermeasures. The Federal Government plans to strengthen the equity position of DB AG in order to partially offset losses related to Covid-19. DB Regional is receiving funds from the industry solution as part of the Federal Government’s economic stimulus package.
