Sustainable Development Goals

We are committed to meeting the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. In 2023, we fundamentally reviewed our selected focus SDGs and, as a result, included SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being” as a further focus SDG. Hence, we have identified nine focus SDGs that are strongly aligned with our strategic focus areas, business activities and material topics. They also include the key SDGs identified by the International Union of Railways (UIC) for railway companies:

SDG 3: Good Health and well-being
SDG 5: Gender equality
SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy
SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities
SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production
SDG 13: Climate action
SDG 15: Life on land
