DB Netze Track has worked on a stable schedule for 2020 with 140 schedule designers in the network schedule. The fact that competition on the rails is continuing to increase is mainly demonstrated by the applications from nonGroup TOCs for train-paths in the 2020 network schedule. Their share in long-distance rail passenger transport has doubled compared with the previous year. This is similar to the development in regional rail passenger transport and rail freight transport, where the applications from non-Group companies increased by more than 39% and 37% respectively. The schedule process follows clear rules and is monitored by the BNetzA.
