Train-path price support

Following the decision of the Federal Budget Committee, the 2025 train-path price support for long-distance transport (entire sector) in the amount of € 105 million was paid out at the end of 2025. € 200 million has been set aside in the Federal budget for the 2026 train-path price support. A new funding directive, which is being drawn up by the BMV, is required to pay out the funds.
