Targets
In 2025, there were no measurable, time-bound and outcome-oriented targets within the meaning of the ESRS in relation to political engagement and lobbying activities. Against the backdrop of independent political consensus-building and decision-making processes, it is fundamentally not possible to define measurable, time-bound and outcome-orient-ed targets in relation to political engagement and lobbying activities.
Our overarching objectives for the political representation of special interests are derived from the strategy. In the political dialog, the prerequisites and general conditions for strengthening rail – as a more climate-friendly mode of transport – and public transport are being promoted. Key elements are the structure of financing for the maintenance as well as the expansion and new construction of rail infrastructure and the competitive conditions in rail passenger transport and rail freight transport. The relevant projects, their timeline for implementation and the scope of the measures are dependent on political decisions. As a rule, the key areas of focus are derived from Government programs and parliamentary initiatives, which are successively implemented through legislative procedures.
