In 2025, there were no measurable, time-bound and outcome-oriented targets within the meaning of the ESRS in relation to personal security.

In particular, the subjectively perceived security of passengers or station visitors cannot be precisely measured in key figures. In addition, it is generally not possible to demonstrate a clearly measurable correlation between security measures and their specific impact.

To develop security measures, DB Group uses the Corporate Security Platform (CSP), in which all known events with security relevance are compiled and evaluated. This allows security measures to be modified or expanded in a targeted manner on the basis of evaluations. This includes, for example, the presence of security forces at certain times when more incidents are registered at certain points.
