Remuneration metrics (S1-16)

Equal pay for men and women is a key element of DB Group’s remuneration policy. The unadjusted gender pay gap between men and women in DB Group in Germany is analyzed on an ongoing basis and is less than 2 %. This is below the tolerance value of 5 % defined by the EU standard and significantly below the unadjusted gender pay gap for 2024 in Germany (16 %) and the average of the reporting DAX companies (14 %).

The small pay gap that exists is due to the respective employee structures (length of service, specific job profiles, qualifications, etc.). The difference between the average gross hourly wage including all allowances and bonuses for male and female employees was calculated here. It is shown as a percentage of the average hourly wage including all allowances and bonuses for male employees. Although this figure is very good compared to other companies, DB Group is working intensively on the structural factors of the gender pay gap and further measures to improve it.
